About The Position

DIVERSIFIED HUMAN SERVICES, INC. Part-Time Positions Donora, PA Location EMPLOYMENT CASH BONUS UP TO $4,000 DAYLIGHT HOURS and OFF WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS Assists with handling inventory and performs maintenance checks and minor repairs on kitchen equipment. Assist with unloading trucks that contain kitchen inventory/supplies. Assembles supplies and materials required for daily meal preparation and delivery. Picks up and delivers food and supplies in an agency vehicle. Assists with maintaining inventory control and record keeping. Assists with kitchen maintenance, stocking, and cleaning storage areas. Performs general maintenance checks on assigned vehicles to ensure safe operation. Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of buildings and grounds as directed. Will be available to assume the role of a substitute driver when necessary. Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations, and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate and control delivery vehicles.
  • Knowledge of general and routine maintenance of tools and custodial equipment.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care program.
  • Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Ability to routinely assist, move, and/or transfer food and supply boxes and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to stock shelves up to six feet high.
  • Ability to occasionally ascend/descend a step ladder when necessary.
