Requirements

  • Previous food service experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with all dietary functions as directed, in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing and serving meals following established food safety standards and guidelines.
  • Perform daily and scheduled cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment according to procedures and return them to storage areas.
  • Dispose of food and waste in adherence to facility and regulatory guidelines.
  • Sweep and mop floors as assigned.
  • Restock food, beverages, and supplies for meal service.
  • Assist in the receiving, rotating, and storage of food and supplies.
  • Support Cook responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
