Kitchen Assistant - Kroontje - Full-Time Day Shift
About The Position
Warm Hearth Village is searching for a dedicated Full Time Kitchen Assistant to become part of the team at the Kroontje Health Care Center. FREE MEALS EVERY SHIFT YOU WORK! Starting payrate at $14.50 per hour No previous experience in food service is required--we're looking for people with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work as a part of a team. We provide company paid ServSafe certification and CPR/FA, along with uniforms and work shoes. This position can be a steppingstone to further career opportunities throughout Warm Hearth Village and the wider healthcare field. This is a great way to get your foot in the door in dining services and at Warm Hearth Village.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents upon arrival and serve them in a timely manner.
- Assure dining room is cleaned and stocked.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and equipment.
- Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner according to local and state guidelines.
- Communicate suggestions from residents to managers.
- Assist in meal preparation.
- Attend in-service trainings and department meetings.
