About The Position
Spanish Schoolhouse, the largest Spanish Immersion preschool in the country, is growing and we are seeking an English Kinder Teacher for our Pearland campus. Come join our mission to create a bigger & brighter future for children!
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Teaching certification
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development
- Previous teaching experience
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
Nice To Haves
- K-5 teaching experience
Responsibilities
- Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students.
- Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.
- Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.
- Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success.
- Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.
- Documenting children’s daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress.
- Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.
