About The Position
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). HVCC does not support Visas. Applicants must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States and appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check. Positions are with the Kids on Campus Summer Athletic Camps in the following areas: Adventure, All Sports, Basketball, Dodgeball, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, and Volleyball. We are creating a qualified registry of applicants. A vacant position may not currently exist in each area. Employment Date: June 1, 2026
Requirements
- High School Graduate.
- Two years of participation in appropriate sport
- Prior experience working in a supervisory capacity with children, preferably in a camp setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of children in the camp
- Assist in developing program content
- Responsible for the appropriate use of college equipment and facilities
- Work with other assistant coaches to provide a harmonious program
- Promote good sportsmanship
- Perform other duties as assigned
