HVCC does not support Visas. Applicants must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States and appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check. (Position is with the Summer Athletic Camps and is pending enrollment). Employment Date: Camp is scheduled: July 13 – July 17, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree.
  • At least five years of experience coaching in appropriate sport
  • possess working knowledge of all aspects of Basketball
  • prior experience working in a camp setting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising program activities related to his/her particular sport
  • Responsible for developing program content
  • Oversee appropriate use of college equipment and facilities
  • Provide support to assistant coaches in resolving problems
  • Make time available to meet with parents as needed
  • Promote the program in dealing with the community
  • Prepare final report and other documents as necessary
  • Promote good sportsmanship
  • Perform other duties as assigned
