About The Position

The Kids Ministry Project Director supports the Central Kids Minister as the lead implementer, architect, engineer, logistics coordinator for KidsCamp, Rock technology and media for Kids Ministry The Kids Ministry Project Director supports the Central Kids Minister by serving as the Lead Implementer for KidsCamp, and Architect, Engineer, and Logistics Coordinator for Rock technology solutions, Kids Care fall launch and Kids Ministry communication As KidsCamp Lead Implementer, you work with the Central Kids Minister and campus Kids Ministers to plan and implement all components of KidsCamp. As Architect, you work with the Central Kids Minister and campus Kids Ministry teams to design, implement and track parent and volunteer communication, including social media and recruitment campaigns. You are also the primary contact for Creative Arts for all Kids Ministry design needs. As Engineer, you are the Rock expert and primary contact with the IT department for all campuses to develop Rock solutions and training for Kids Ministry events, promotion, recruiting, class set up, management and reports. As Logistics Coordinator, you work with the Central Kids Minister to coordinate Kids Care hiring and fall kickoff. You also coordinate the Kids Ministry calendar and provide administrative support for Central Kids Ministry staff events, including prayer retreats and the Christmas celebration. Next Generation Children’s Ministry Mission: “We are on mission to partner with families to form a lasting faith by helping their kids - BELONG to a body of believers so they know they are loved by God, BELIEVE the gospel and place their faith in Jesus, and BECOME a disciple of Jesus by applying the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Christ Chapel’s Mission: “To stretch every involved person from the threshold of their spiritual pilgrimage toward becoming a fully developing follower of Christ” (Col 1:28-29). Role’s Relationship: The Kids Ministry Project Director reports directly to the Central Kids Minister.

Requirements

  • Must be a maturing believer who is obviously, consistently and increasingly manifesting the fruit of the Spirit in his daily walk with Christ (Galatians 5:22-23) as well as among others
  • Must be living an “above reproach” lifestyle as outlined in the Christ Chapel Employee Handbook
  • Must be committed to and supportive of the authority of the Elders, the pastoral staff, and the philosophy and direction of the church both in public and in private
  • Must be a faithful steward of work and time, with awareness that Christ Chapel employees are paid from the tithes and offerings of others
  • Must be able to articulate a clear sense of calling to the Gospel ministry
  • Must sense God’s calling to Christ Chapel, both sides having a sense of His intertwining our hearts and lives together
  • Must be able to articulate a specific and clear calling to ministry with children
  • Must have experience and be comfortable with working with technology and training others
  • Must have a track record of leading large projects
  • Must have a track record of problem solving, initiative and creativity
  • Must be dependable, humble and approachable
  • Must be a team player and encourager
  • Must be self-led and self-managed regarding work; have a commitment to action
  • Must have an optimistic, positive, and cheerful demeanor.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable
  • Must be able to receive direction and correction - a joy to supervise

Nice To Haves

  • Have a positive track record over at least a three-year period of project creativity and implementation
