About The Position

To provide timely, efficient, and accurate administrative services to the Family Ministries team and Lead Kids Pastor, volunteers and congregations that is consistent with Central’s vision and core values. This individual must fit within our collaborative culture and build teams that represents the campus and the community in areas of gender, ethnicity, and age. This position moves forward the mission and values of Central Christian Church. The mission of Central is to lead people to discover and fully own their faith in Jesus. You will also be expected to immerse yourself in our staff leadership culture of Jesus First, Same Team, Make It Better, Feedback Matters, Give It Away, and Healthy Hustle. Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to organize and respond promptly to multiple priorities and requests are essential.
  • Must have strong Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
  • Must align with the vision, and values of Central Christian Church and be committed to doing Central no harm.
  • Financially support the vision of Central Christian Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income.
  • Growing in your personal relationship with Christ, while developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the Church.
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Central Christian Church employees, defined by the Employee Handbook.
  • Be an active Owner at Central Christian Church, making every effort to uphold the six staff values of Central.

Responsibilities

  • Support Kids Pastor, Kids Ministry team, and CLI Team.
  • Be the primary source of information about the Family Ministries.
  • Maintain and respond appropriately to inquiries concerning the Family Ministries.
  • Set up and Support family ministries events and camps, including creating all Activity request forms.
  • Create brochures, flyers, booklets, handouts, and publications as needed.
  • Communicate with Pastors/Directors/Volunteers.
  • Help provide a friendly, inviting, welcoming environment in the office.
  • Order resources for CLI & Kids Ministry.
  • Process all department’s check requests.
  • Reconciliation of Lead Kids Pastor’s credit card.
  • Assist and help maintain budget for four campuses.
  • Run monthly Budgeted Financials for Kids Team.
  • Maintain monthly statistics sheets and run additional status reports as needed.
  • Maintain announcements, databases, and CLI forms in ROCK/Notion.
