About The Position

YSS is looking for a fun, responsible, and caring Program Assistant to join our Ballard West Elementary team, working with kids in grades K–6. What you'll do: Run before and after school programming when classes are in- session and full-day programs during school breaks and no-school days, keeping kids active, curious, and smiling all day. Keep kids safe while guiding hands-on activities that spark creativity, learning, and friendship. Design daily activities that meet program goals and give kids something to look forward to every day. Prep and serve healthy snacks and meals that keep energy and smiles up. Monitor participation, behavior, and progress, and complete incident reports as needed. Be the friendly, reliable face kids, parents, and school staff love to see. Maintain clean, organized spaces to ensure every activity flows smoothly. Requirements

  • At least 16 years old
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 3 months)
  • Enjoy working with children
