Requirements

Willing to travel to Kiawah Island
Prior professional caregiving or CNA experience
Experience with transfers, gait belts, or mobility assistance
Dementia or memory care experience
Reliability and strong communication skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach
Job requires frequent bending and could include driving.
Candidate must be proficient in communicative, auditory and visual skills
Attention to detail
Ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs

Nice To Haves

CNA certification
Home care or facility experience
CPR/First Aid certification

Responsibilities

Building meaningful, lasting relationships with clients and families
Providing consistent, reliable support during times of need
Monitoring client condition and communicating changes to the care team
Advocating for clients within the community
Personal Care (ADLs) Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
Mobility assistance and transfers
Feeding and hydration support
Incontinence care
