The Keyholder Supervisor is responsible for overseeing store operations, including the loading and unloading of trailers, processing of textiles and wares, quality control, rotation, sales, and general operations. This role assists the store manager in managing budgeted sales and expense to revenue. Key duties involve accurate and efficient cash register operation, handling various payment methods, performing banking procedures, and reconciling daily business statements. The supervisor trains and oversees store employees in retail procedures, ensures excellent customer service, and maintains the store according to company policies on housekeeping, safety, and security. Additional tasks include stocking, display, inventory duties, and merchandise ordering. The position requires a flexible schedule to meet store needs, adherence to the company dress code, and a professional example for employees. The supervisor is expected to embrace an empowerment and continuous improvement culture, offering suggestions and making decisions that positively impact the store's growth. They assist the store manager with equal opportunity employment efforts and harassment prevention. The role requires personal transportation with adequate liability insurance and the ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds. Compliance with all Agency policies, procedures, and safety standards is mandatory, ensuring safety training in supervised areas to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards. The Keyholder Supervisor performs direct supervision of employees and volunteers in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, carrying out responsibilities such as training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and performing daily manager on duty tasks including opening and closing the store.
