About The Position

Evergreen Enterprises is a leading manufacturer of home and garden décor, proudly offering one of the world’s largest selections of meaningful and expressive products. We are seeking a passionate, product-minded Key Account Sales Support Specialist (Pre-Sale) to join our Key Accounts Sales Team. The Key Account Sales Support Specialist (pre-sale) role involves working both independently as well as with the larger team is to assist in the design, creation, and delivery of sales programs that will result in expansion of our Key Account (National Account) sales. This role involves a range of activities including data entry and analysis, product planning (costing/sourcing/presentation), showroom and meeting preparation, and other responsibilities deemed necessary on a day to day basis. Within the Pre-Sale position is the opportunity to develop and work with international vendors on product sourcing, sampling, testing protocols, logistics and more. The position requires an understanding of the processes involved for new products and programs to move from the proposal process to the retail shelf across a range of channels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel/PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimal travel for semi-annual trade show and customer meetings

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Bi-Lingual (English-Mandarin) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work and communicate with cross-functional departments and vendors to prepare sales collateral, quotes, samples, and presentation materials
  • Develop, understand, and incorporate knowledge of the competitive landscape for national and regional accounts including margin expectations, merchandising requirements, private label opportunities, and logistics.
  • Construct and Manage customer quotes and required program documentation ranging from basic vendor manuals to more specific packaging or logistics details.
  • Understanding of order receipt process through various EDI portals.
  • Be the category & product expert to assist in development of sales strategy and product positioning for national accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with the Post-Sales Team to ensure program execution goals are met
  • Collect and review relevant sell through data to analyze program success
  • Participate in Marketing & Sales Meetings, Trade Shows and/or account specific meetings as needed.
  • Report weekly to team and department manager on all open projects.
