About The Position

The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing business opportunities within assigned channel of business and key local customers. This includes nurturing key customer and bottler relationships, development of account specific promotional activity, insight on channel strategies and partnership agreements, product placement and innovation. Primary job duties generally include 1) Developing key customer base to ensure company is cultivating strong customer relationships and partnerships while maximizing volume, revenue and profit growth 2) utilize market share, account data and analytics, regional trends and competitive information to drive overall channel strategy 3) provide insights in preparation of monthly promotions, pricing and strategy 4) present periodic sales updates to the WP Directors providing insights on account development and marketplace trends 5) participation on regional sales teams as assigned. 6) Work with the Sales Manager, Sales Supervisors and Account Sales Representatives to insure execution of all activity at store level. 7.) focus on growing the Wis-Pak Brands, locally, regionally and nationally through the effective selling and development of our beverage brands at the key account level. Primary focus is achieving sales volume, profitability and margin goals within the channels of our business.  The Key Account Manager must be focused on helping WP Beverages attain profitable growth through the sale and distribution of our refreshing beverages, innovative customer focused marketing programs and superior customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Seven years of sales experience, preferably in the Beverage industry calling on the headquarter level.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Persuasive and diplomatic communication skills. Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively design sales/marketing programs.
  • High attention to detail and follow through.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to analyze trends & develop strategies.
  • Ability to establish plans, prioritize and organize efforts to execute and meet goals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and honesty.

Responsibilities
