About The Position

The Key Account Manager plays a critical role in driving growth and deepening strategic partnerships with a select group of OEM customers within the Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment at Regal Rexnord. This is a high‑impact, customer‑facing role for a self‑directed, relationship‑driven professional who can engage confidently across all levels of an organization—from engineering to executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings the ability to build trust, uncover opportunities, influence cross‑functional collaboration, and deliver meaningful value that accelerates long‑term growth for both the customer and Regal Rexnord. This position is remote, central IL based. PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $1.7 Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions which are sold in the residential heating and ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other OEM and aftermarket products. Brands include Genteq® motors, as well as Fasco®, Elco®, DEC Star®, Leeson, motor and blowers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years industry sales experience
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of personal initiative and ownership of results
  • Strong computer skills – Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint Outlook & Teams)
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Must reside in territory

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business and Sales Leadership to develop strategic territory plan to achieve sales and margin growth goals
  • Provide strategic communication link between customers and Regal Rexnord business leadership
  • Lead negotiations/business agreements with key accounts in the territory
  • Lead customer value add productivity projects
  • Development of plans & value propositions for solution-selling to overcome the price objection
  • Highly engaged use of CRM to manage and report on growth opportunities & projects
  • Utilization of CRM to manage activities in support of the customer relationship
  • Create opportunities for strategic involvement of business/functional team members at key locations in territory
  • Timely response to Leadership requests for critical information
  • Support and successful execution of any internal Regal Rexnord product simplification or restructuring initiatives
  • Ensure prompt response to customer issues including sample testing on customer applications
  • Presentation of proposals and quotes to customers and ensure adherence to pricing strategy defined by business
  • Participate in product training and Business Unit strategy/planning meetings as necessary
