The Key Account Manager for this Building Automation account position is responsible for expanding the engagement and business with key Data Center Clients and driving new business within specific General Contractors in the Data Center Vertical Market. This position requires ownership of the commercial relationship between Schneider Electric and Clients. The role requires working with preconstruction and operations teams to develop and deliver commercial proposals. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers. The position will require the individual to travel 50% of the time. As a member of the NSA team, the individual will collaborate with our local Branches as well as other Schneider business units. It will require weekly interaction with Sales to identify opportunities related to the Building Automation work and to coordinate the necessary sales strategy for success in closing new business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to calling on end users, general contractors, and other members of the value chain, working with the appropriate internal teams to produce BMS solutions, taking responsibility for the pricing and commercial engagement, and proposal writing and delivery.
