About The Position

Qt Group is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and expand strategic relationships with major Industrial and Consumer technology accounts across North America. In this role, you will partner with high-impact customers in industrial automation, robotics, medical/health devices, smart home, consumer electronics, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for driving strategic growth, uncovering new product and platform opportunities, and positioning Qt as the core technology powering device UIs, embedded applications, and high-performance software solutions. You will work closely with engineering leaders, product teams, and executive-level stakeholders to help customers adopt Qt's portfolio-including the Qt framework, embedded development solutions, and Quality Assurance tools-across multiple product lines and development teams. This is a hybrid in-office role based in Boston, MA; Detroit, MI; or Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software or technology sales experience
  • Experience selling into industrial automation, manufacturing, consumer electronics, IoT, robotics, or medical technology verticals
  • Proven ability to manage strategic accounts with multiple engineering stakeholders
  • Strong technical curiosity and the ability to articulate technical value
  • Experience leading complex sales cycles from prospecting to negotiation and close
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding quota
  • Proficient in MEDDPICC or other enterprise sales methodologies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with embedded development, device UI frameworks, or QA automation platforms
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle for devices, robotics, or industrial systems
  • Understanding of IoT ecosystems or connected-device architectures
  • Salesforce proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic industrial and consumer technology accounts
  • Build deep, long-term relationships with engineering, product, and technology leaders
  • Identify new opportunities across customer product lines, regions, and engineering teams
  • Lead multi-threaded sales cycles involving technical evaluations, pilots, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Deliver compelling demos, value-based discussions, and customized proposals
  • Develop multi-year account strategies aligned with customer product and innovation plans
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to support customer initiatives
  • Stay informed on trends in industrial automation, robotics, IoT devices, consumer electronics, and medical technology
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, activity tracking, and account insights
