About The Position

WHAT YOU’LL DO The Keno Writer accurately processes Keno wagers, issues tickets, verify payouts, and maintains a balanced cash bank throughout each shift. This role requires attention to detail, cash-handling accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced gaming environment while maintaining compliance with all gaming regulations. ROLE EXPECTATIONS Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and positive client interactions Operate the Keno computer system to sell, validate, and cash Keno tickets Accurately handle cash transactions and balance assigned cash bank Assist guests with Keno game rules, payouts, and general questions Monitor Keno draws and post or announce results as required Ensure compliance with all gaming laws, company policies, and procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and secure Keno work area Report equipment malfunctions or discrepancies promptly Provide courteous, professional service to all guests Other job-related duties Join our team at Rio Las Vegas, where innovation and unparalleled hospitality create a dynamic workplace. Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience in casino industry
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Must be able to obtain gaming registration with Gaming Control Board.

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
