About The Position
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Provide exceptional service and value to our guests. Assist Team Members while acting as a supervisor. Our Core Values: Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork JOB SUMMARY: Process Keno and Sportsbook tickets for guests and assist in the understanding of how to play. Process Keno and Sportsbook tickets through a computerized system, call Keno games, mark numbers called and verify draw results. Act as Keno/Sportsbook Supervisor in the absence of the Keno/Sportsbook Supervisor. Perform supervisory and administrative functions in accordance with policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Complete Title 31 requirements.
- Basic math skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Permit.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and/or move around continuously during the assigned shift.
- Manual and finger dexterity.
- Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- 1 year of Keno experience.
- 1 year of Sportsbook experience
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Keno and Sportsbook departmental Guest Service Standards.
- Knowledge of casino promotions.
- Follow all Keno and Sportsbook rules in accordance with established Casino policies and procedures.
- Understand, support and explain all Keno and Sportsbook content, promotions, betting events, and betting odds as expected.
- Review internal audit work daily in accordance with Keno and Sportsbook procedures.
- Supervise Keno/Sportsbook Team Members during assigned shift in the absence of the Keno/Sportsbook Supervisor.
- Provide input for Team Member evaluations and disciplinary actions, and train new Team Members.
- Handle guest and Team Member complaints.
- Assist in planning, developing and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
- Start Keno game, keep existing games intact and collect house revenues.
- Perform Runner/Writer and Sportsbook duties as assigned.
