About The Position

Acorn Valley Pet Boarding is looking for a friendly, reliable Kennel Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team!

If you enjoy working with animals just as much as you enjoy helping people, this role offers the best of both worlds. You’ll be the welcoming face of our facility—helping pet owners feel confident leaving their pets in our care while also supporting the day-to-day needs of the animals staying with us.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Kennel CSR, you’ll play a key role in both client experience and animal care support.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or reception (required)
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to build rapport and create a positive client experience
• Calm and confident approach when interacting with animals
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• A team player with a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with animals or in a kennel setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and checking pets in and out for boarding and grooming
• Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries
• Entering and updating client and pet information in our system
• Providing information about services and helping clients feel confident in their pet’s care
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Assisting with basic animal care tasks such as walking, feeding, and cleaning as needed
• Helping restrain or bathe animals when required
