About The Position

Quakertown Veterinary Clinic (QVC) is looking for reliable and compassionate Kennel Attendants to join our team!

If you enjoy staying active, working hands-on with animals, and making sure pets feel safe, clean, and cared for while their owners are away, this could be a great fit. Our kennel team plays a key role in keeping our boarding pets happy, healthy, and comfortable.

As a Kennel Attendant, you’ll be responsible for the daily care and well-being of animals staying with us.

Requirements

• Experience with animal handling or kennel care (preferred, but not required)
• A calm, patient, and caring approach when working with animals
• Strong teamwork and reliability
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs

• Experience with animal handling or kennel care

Responsibilities

• Walking dogs and providing exercise and attention
• Feeding animals and ensuring proper care routines are followed
• Cleaning cages, runs, and litter boxes to maintain a sanitary environment
• Administering medications as directed
• Assisting with bathing and safely restraining animals when needed
• Following cleaning and sanitation protocols
• Monitoring animals and reporting any unusual behavior or health concerns
