At Chateau Animal Hospital, our Kennel Assistants keep our patients comfortable, our spaces spotless, and our team running smoothly. Location: 2635 Old Winder Hwy Braselton, Georgia 30517 Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00/hr (based on experience) Shift Details:Rotating weekends, a full Saturday and a morning or evening shift on Sunday. What You'll Do: Keep our hospital shining! From kennel areas and treatment rooms, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming space for every pet. Walk dogs three times dailyBathe cats and dogsFeed and care for hospitalized patients and boardersMaintain laundry throughout the day and keep laundry area neat Monitor and record animal behavior, appetite, and bathroom habits with attention and careSupport our doctors and technicians by helping with restraint, treatments, and daily careFlexible schedule including weekends/Holidays What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive team environment where collaboration and compassion are valued. The Kennel Assistant also pays close attention to animals' general health signs such as signs of stress and changes in eating or elimination habits, promptly notifying technicians and veterinarians when a pet needs medical attention. The Kennel Assistant interacts with clients in person and by phone and e-mail. Proper record documentation and accurate completion of boarding forms and cage cards is critical. The Kennel Assistant must pay close attention to details, understand, and follow proper feeding and sanitation procedures and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets.
