About The Position

VCA All Animal Hospital in Orange Park, FL is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant (Animal Care Attendant) to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients while supporting our medical team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in animal care, boarding, kennel, or veterinary settings preferred
• Ability to handle dogs and cats safely and compassionately
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in animal care, boarding, kennel, or veterinary settings

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing cages, kennels, and treatment areas
• Feeding and caring for dogs and cats
• Walking dogs and monitoring their comfort and well-being
• Bathing dogs as needed
• Completing laundry and maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital
• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises
• Assisting Doctors and Veterinary Technicians when necessary
