About The Position

As a Principal , you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of the firm, working closely with clients and colleagues to develop insights and deliver high-impact results. You will support engagements from start to finish—problem definition through analysis, synthesis, and client communication. You will contribute to client work addressing challenges related to corporate strategy, performance improvement, enterprise transformation, and mergers & acquisitions, with a primary focus on Biopharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Services and additional exposure to Medical Devices, Distribution, Providers, and Private Equity. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus. Requirements

  • An MBA (preferred) and 10+ years of professional experience
  • Relevant management consulting experience with strong market traction at the Principal level
  • Experience working with clients in the Life Sciences and Private Equity industries, with expertise in Biopharmaceuticals, Pharmaceutical Services and Medical Devices
  • Experience supporting Fortune 500 clients through long-term engagements
  • Proven experience managing proposal development, participating in client pitches, and driving business development within existing and new accounts
  • A passionate for leading teams and mentoring colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple major workstreams within business design engagements
  • Exceptional consulting skills (presentation, communication, analytics, problem solving, leadership, presence)
  • A willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the origination of new business and support business development pursuits
  • Deliver large programs, leading high-impact engagement teams
  • Possess strong content depth and knowledge in industry hot topics
  • Supporting corporate, growth, and commercial go-to-market strategy engagements for Life Sciences clients
  • Contributing to enterprise transformation initiatives, including organizational design and effectiveness
  • Contributing to franchise and brand strategy as well as R&D portfolio strategy work
  • Working collaboratively with team members and client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
