About The Position

This role involves supervising, assigning, coordinating, and evaluating semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel based on their skill, experience, and job knowledge. The Foreman is responsible for supervising and training employees to enhance the quality and quantity of their work, and for recommending and assisting in the development of training procedures. Key duties include breaking down broad strategies into practical action plans and ensuring employees are trained to execute them. The position requires compliance with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings and procedures. The Foreman is also responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that significantly impact the company's financial performance. This role includes supervising qualified trades staff and monitoring job and budget performance across all shifts.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree OR
Apprentice Certification OR
High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience OR
Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
