About The Position

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School is currently seeking a temporary part-time Resource Teacher in the areas of Math and Language Arts. Qualified candidates must be practicing Catholics who are passionate about sharing the faith with young students through living active lifestyles for Christ. Candidates must pass a background check and attend Safe Environment training that are required of all teachers and staff in the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools. • Be willing to be a member of a collaborative team of teachers
• Applicants must be a Catholic in good standing
• Applicants must have a teaching license or certificate that is valid in Colorado; or be willing to complete an archdiocesan teacher formation program

Responsibilities

• Teach and support the educational goals and objectives of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School and the mission of the Catholic Church
• Plan and deliver daily lessons in concert with the elementary teaching standards and benchmarks established by the Archdiocese of Denver
• Provide classroom instruction and activities that reflect the Catholic intellectual tradition and knowledge of 21st century best practices in education
• Demonstrate positive classroom management skills and strategies
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, peer educators, and administrators
