About The Position

Siena Catholic Schools of Racine is seeking a Part-Time Music Teacher to join Our Lady of Grace Academy for the 25/26 school year and beyond. This position works 9:00am-1:30pm M, T, W, F and 9:00am-2:30p on Thursdays for a total of 23.5 hours per week. Siena Catholic Schools of Racine unites the area’s six Catholic elementary schools (John Paul II Academy, Our Lady of Grace Academy, St. Joseph, St. Lucy, St. Rita, St. Sebastian STEM Academy) and one high school (St. Catherine's) in a regional model of Catholic education intended to preserve the individual identity, history, and uniqueness of each school while maximizing the impact of collective strength. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.
• Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification is preferred
• Knowledge of application of best teaching practices
• Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject areas.
• Helping to develop and implement curriculum that is aligned with Wisconsin State Standards, Common Core Standards and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as they evolve.
• Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
• Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.
