About The Position

Horizon Science Academy Primary School is a K–2 public charter school dedicated to providing a high-quality, engaging education for all students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team of educators for the 26-27 school year.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver standards-aligned art instruction for grades K–5
Teach foundational art skills across a variety of media while fostering creativity
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment
Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
Collaborate with staff and communicate with families as needed
Support school initiatives and contribute to a positive school culture
Organize student artwork displays or school-wide art events
Maintain art supplies and materials within budget
Participate in professional development and fulfill other duties as assigned
