Administers the Prosecutor Person and Property Prevention Program for juvenile offenders diverted from court by Juvenile Prosecutor; Prepares Recommendations for Juvenile Court Hearings, assists with Restorative Conferencing Program. Primary Function The principal function of an employee in this class is to supervise the Prosecutor Prevention program for juvenile offenders, conduct initial screenings for youth and families whom are cited to court, which includes: reviewing rights, conducting screenings/assessments, completing prosecutor prevention stipulation orders with recommendations, and completing admit/deny forms to provide recommendations to the juvenile prosecutor and court. Providing case management and overseeing cases referred to the prevention program. The Juvenile Prevention Program Coordinator will also assist in the delivery of Restorative Conferences. The work is performed under the supervision of the Juvenile Chief Juvenile Probation Officer. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment and in the field.
