About The Position

Juvenile Court Liaison / Outpatient Therapist The JCL / Therapist in this role will provide assistance to the Juvenile Court Systems and Outpatient Services in Houston County This position will be based out of our Children's Services in Dothan, Al Work hours of this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Requirements

Masters degree or above in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing or other behavioral health area
Completion of a relevant clinical practicum or has six month’s post master clinical experience supervised by a master’s level or above clinician with two years postgraduate clinical experience.
Should have (1) year experience working with children/adolescents and shall receive 10 hours of specialized training to be completed within one (1) year from the date services started being provided.
Must be willing to obtain AADAA certification within 30 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Develop a relationship with juvenile judges and probation officers as well as program directors offering appropriate services
Perform evaluations and intakes, group and individual therapy on a short term basis, family support and crisis intervention services to consumers within the program
Complete accurate and timely documentation
