The Climate Data Steering Committee (CDSC) was established in 2022 and brings together global regulators, policymakers, international organizations, and standard setters to improve access to high-quality climate risk-related data for use by investors, companies, policymakers, regulators and civil society. The CDSC oversees the development of the Net-Zero Data Public Utility (NZDPU), a global public-good data platform that provides a trusted, central source of company-level climate risk-related data that is transparent and accessible to all. Today, the NZDPU enables governments, regulators, financial institutions, companies, and civil society to track greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, corporate targets, and related metadata - helping to provide the data and transparency to facilitate informed decision-making. The Strategy and Partnerships team works with the CDSC Secretariat and the NZDPU team, playing a pivotal role in expanding the NZDPU's data coverage by working with governments and regulatory authorities to integrate mandatory climate risk-related disclosures into the NZDPU. What's the role? We are looking for a Associate, Jurisdictional Partnerships to join our team and support work to form strategic partnerships with key jurisdictions for the NZDPU. This role will support efforts to engage with governments, regulators, and international organizations, coordinating with the CDSC Secretariat and the NZDPU teams. Apply if you're excited to contribute to a high-profile, global initiative advancing access to public good climate data. This role offers the opportunity to work across jurisdictions, gain exposure to both the CDSC Secretariat and the NZDPU, and collaborate with partners shaping the future of climate data.
