Energy systems across industries like data centers, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and critical infrastructure are becoming more complex and business-critical. Originating from TU Darmstadt in Germany, etalytics combines deep engineering expertise with the speed and ambition of a scaling technology company. Our platform uses AI, advanced analytics, digital twins, and predictive optimization to transform operational data into intelligent decisions. As a Junior Technical Account Executive, you will take ownership of your deals early on while being supported by experienced team members as you build your expertise in the role. You will operate at the intersection of technology, business impact, and climate innovation — helping industrial companies improve efficiency, reduce costs, and decarbonize.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Initial hands-on exposure to sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (e.g., internships or similar experience)
  • Hands-on exposure to industrial, energy, infrastructure, or technical environments (e.g., through academic projects, internships, or practical experience)
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to data, analytics, and operational systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Eligibility to work remotely within the United States

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned opportunities early on while being supported by experienced team members as you build your expertise in the role.
  • Own defined parts of the sales cycle from discovery to closing.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities across energy-intensive industries such as data centers, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and critical infrastructure.
  • Lead initial customer conversations and contribute to consultative discussions around operational challenges, energy costs, efficiency potential, and decarbonization goals.
  • Translate AI and energy optimization capabilities into clear business value.
  • Collaborate with solution engineers, data experts, and internal teams to develop tailored proposals and value-driven customer solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders across engineering, operations, sustainability, and leadership over time.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline, ensure accurate CRM documentation, and contribute to forecasting with support from the team.

Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD 60,000 – 80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • This role is eligible for performance-based variable compensation.
  • On-target earnings (OTE): USD 75,000 – 100,000 per year, including base salary and variable compensation at target achievement.
