This Talent Acquisition Specialist will help optimize current practices, track and impact key TA metrics and ensure adoption of new recruiting tools with our managers and HR partners. This role will be based in office in Orlando, FL with occasional travel (15%) to other business locations in Central Florida. This is the “key, core” talent acquisition role and tightly aligns to one of our largest Market Areas. The Specialist will work closely with the Senior Specialist to continuously execute strategies and tactics to autonomously drive attraction, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of a world class workforce in the skilled trades, specifically technicians and management in Central Florida. This professional will also work with trade leaders to develop their ability to select/retain great people. Finally, the recruiting specialist will work with local operators to increase brand awareness as an “Employer of Choice” in the market through marketing and community involvement, opening new talent pools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 2-4 years of prior high-volume recruiting experience
  • Highly motivated by personal performance targets, intensely driven to exceed goals
  • Capable of analyzing workflow metrics and presenting actionable recommendations
  • Strong ability to communicate and differentiate our employers from others; respects the trades
  • Intensely hands on & scrappy, but able to see the strategic vision of quintupling our business and being best in the industry
  • Excellent & disciplined, time management and organizational skills capable to managing quickly shifting priorities

Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing & Recruiting Support (70%) Search for candidates through job boards, social media, and internal databases.
  • Assist with building candidate pipelines for Technician roles and other key positions.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial outreach to potential candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and support the coordination process with hiring managers.
  • Help improve and maintain basic recruiting processes as you learn.
  • Recruiting Metrics & Reporting (10%) Track basic recruiting numbers such as pipelines, outreach, and interview activity.
  • Help gather and organize monthly and annual recruiting reports.
  • Support efforts to improve diversity recruiting by tracking participation and results.
  • Learn how to use data to support staffing needs and hiring goals.
  • Talent Technology & Job Posting Support (15%) Post and refresh job ads across job boards and social channels on a regular schedule.
  • Ensure job postings stay updated and accurate.
  • Help maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by updating candidate records.
  • Support adoption of recruiting tools (ATS, CRM) through basic troubleshooting and consistency.
  • Learn how to use recruiting technology to make processes more efficient.
  • Employer Branding & Social Content Support (5%) Assist with creating simple recruiting content such as job posts, social graphics, or short messages.
  • Help gather feedback on the candidate experience and brand perception.
  • Support small employer-brand projects as assigned.
