About The Position

The Jr. Systems Administrator will provide support for our Navy SWMFTS contract. The ideal candidate will maintain the computing environment by identifying system/network requirements and installing upgrades and monitoring system/network performance. Duties will include:

Conduct hardware and software maintenance on multiple networks / systems
Monitor IT environment to proactively prevent problems
Provide technical support to various customer remote sites
Assist with routine system audits and reviews, testing of Information Security (IS) policies/plans/procedures

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• B.S. in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer science, or a B.A. degree in Management Information Sciences
• 0-2 years of experience with computer systems administration
• Must possess effective written and oral communication skills in a collaborative environment.
• Proven organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
