About The Position

American factories deserve a supply chain that moves as fast as they do. The next generation of American manufacturing is being built right now. Nox Metals is the supply chain behind it. Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible. We need someone who can own the front line of our sales operation. You will be the first touch for customers requesting quotes, the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, and the engine that keeps our pipeline moving. This role is equal parts sales, data entry, and hustle. You will also support our marketing efforts across social media, helping tell the Nox story to the aerospace and defense world. This is a ground floor role with real room to grow as the company scales.

Requirements

  • Fast and detail oriented. Quote entry needs to be accurate and it needs to be quick
  • Eager to learn a technical product catalog (aluminum alloys, aerospace specs, mill certifications)
  • Comfortable on the phone and over email with procurement teams
  • Cracked with AI tools, spreadsheets, and CRMs
  • Organized enough to manage dozens of open quotes without dropping anything
  • Interested in content creation and comfortable writing for social media
  • Customer obsessed. You care about getting the details right because the customer depends on it
  • Hungry. Self-directed. High agency
  • Low ego. You do not wait to be told what to do
  • Not afraid to work outside normal hours
  • Never says "that's not my job"
  • Someone who can run a saw to get the job out if needed

Responsibilities

  • Enter and manage customer quote requests with speed and accuracy
  • Learn customer needs, specifications, and nuances across alloys, tempers, and certifications
  • Follow up on every quote until it converts or dies
  • Keep our CRM clean, organized, and up to date
  • Support outbound prospecting and cold outreach as needed
  • Create and schedule content across social media channels (X, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Use AI tools to move faster than anyone else in this industry
  • Take things off the team's plate and find ways to improve the sales process without being told to
