Our team of 100+ ambitious professionals operates across environmental markets including renewable power, renewable gas, carbon markets, biofuels, and energy efficiency . We work closely with corporations, utilities, financial institutions, and project developers across global markets. Success in our business comes from the ability to identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and translate complex market dynamics into actionable trading and risk solutions . Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance , Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong commercial drive and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze complex markets and translate insights into opportunities
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Demonstrated interest in energy markets, sustainability, or commodity trading
  • Working rights in the United States and based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of environmental commodity markets and regulatory frameworks
  • Work closely with senior traders and sales professionals to originate and execute transactions
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate and institutional market participants
  • Identify commercial opportunities and market inefficiencies
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients and trading relationships
  • Stay ahead of market developments, pricing trends, and regulatory changes
  • Contribute to expanding STX’s presence across North American and international markets
