Berger Chevrolet is growing and is seeking a full-time Junior Sales Business Development Representative (Spanish/English) to join our thirteenth-time Dealer of the Year award-winning organization. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for generating leads to automotive buyers, establishing and maintaining relationships with potential customers, and driving vehicle sales growth. Engage with potential and current customers by utilizing various online technologies and telephone communications, such as cold and hot call(s), email, follow-up on customer inquiries related to marketing department social media campaigns, and networking events. Conduct thorough assessments to understand each customers' requirements, preferences, and budget considerations. Proactively engage potential customers by sharing information about current monthly sales offerings and dealership services to generate interest and engagement. Schedule and confirm customer appointments with sales consultants for test drives and vehicle feature demonstrations, ensuring customer questions and concerns are addressed. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and current customer leads to establish customer relations by addressing inquiries, overcoming objections, and guiding the customer through the sales process. Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads by tracking customer interactions and progress through the sales process using CRM software (DriveCentric). Participate in ongoing training and coaching to build product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to support overall dealership growth. Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
  • Must be self-motivated and results-oriented to provide a proactive approach to lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to highlight customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Proficient computer skills, including CRM systems, call center software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
  • Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver's license.
  • Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer service or call center experience, preferably in an automotive BDC environment using a multi-line phone system, is preferred.

  • Compensation – $13.75/hr base pay, monthly performance-based commission with an estimated first-year total compensation range of $36,400–$52,000, and a yearly longevity bonus.
