About The Position

Great New Career Opportunity in Long-Term Care Pharmacy! Now Hiring – Full-Time Recruiter - Hybrid, Austin, TX Hours: M-F 9am to 5pm Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – We provide specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Through our dedication to provide excellence to our customers, we have grown from a small independent pharmacy to a multi-state long-term care pharmacy solution. We currently have 12 locations around the country and have private equity backing to aggressively grow over the next 3-5 years. Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is seeking a Hybrid Full Time Recruiter located in Austin, TX, reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources. The recruiter will source and identify potential candidates to fill requisitions for our pharmacy locations across the US. Depending on the assigned teams, these positions include Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and associated office/corporate support staff.

Requirements

  • 2 years of high-volume sourcing and recruiting experience
  • Experience in long-term care pharmacy or healthcare required
  • Thorough knowledge of recruiting and HR, employment laws
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and knowledge of IDD a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
  • Paylocity applicant tracking system experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate proactive talent pipelining, working toward full cycle recruitment with guidance and input from hiring managers.
  • Accountable for the on-going cultivation and evaluation of new candidate sourcing channels and methods.
  • Conduct the sourcing of candidates within various geographical markets by utilizing various methods including internal and external networking, mining databases and job boards, developing relationships with associations, etc.
  • Evaluate the profiles of potential candidates by performing preliminary phone screen assessments.
  • Visit pharmacy site to drive effective partnerships with business leaders.
  • Participate in onsite job fairs, professional events, cold calling, referral recruiting, etc.
  • Advertise job vacancies on HRIS and job sites (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Conduct phone / virtual interviews to identify best candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule in-person and/or virtual interviews with hiring managers.
  • Negotiate offer with candidates, partnering with hiring managers.
  • Fully utilize candidate tracking reports.
  • Stay current with market trends and adjust approach accordingly.
  • Use Paylocity applicant tracking system daily.
  • Coordinate with HR and training to onboard candidates.
