About The Position

THE·TEAM operates at the epicenter of sports, music and entertainment, serving talent, brands and properties on a global scale. Their brands and properties division works with iconic brands and rights holders, supporting business growth through all marketing disciplines. THE·TEAM is a trusted partner to every major league, team and venue, building meaningful connections between brands, properties and fans. Headquartered in Los Angeles, THE·TEAM's presence spans 28 countries and more than 70 cities. THE·TEAM is seeking a curious and driven Junior Product Manager (JPM) to join the Global Insights and Innovation team – a small, collaborative group focused on expanding, elevating, and creating proprietary products that power the agency’s businesses. The Global Insights and Innovation team leads performance measurement, audience intelligence, and custom research and analytics to power insight-driven client strategies. As a Junior Product Manager on this team, you will contribute to features across the product roadmap from discovery through delivery. You will be responsible for building a deep understanding of product capabilities and user needs through research and partnership with the internal Service team, translating these insights into clear product requirements for design and engineering. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is energized by building meaningful tools and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, offering an opportunity to shape how technology drives insight and impact across the sports and entertainment industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Computer Science, or related field)
  • 1-2 years of experience in product management, analytics, operations, strategy, or a closely related role
  • Thrive working in a ‘start up’ environment that moves at a fast pace, with a significant amount of autonomy in terms of day-to-day planning and execution
  • Passionate about developing products and skilled in synthesizing complexity into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical teammates and senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with data and insights tools
  • Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • A ‘do-er’ who is excited by new and undefined challenges, and can create the plan and structure to get it done

Responsibilities

  • Support the full product lifecycle – from discovery and requirements through prototyping, design collaboration, engineering delivery, and post-launch measurement and iteration
  • Conduct and lead discovery efforts: stakeholder interviews, user research, and workflow analysis to deeply understand the needs of internal teams
  • Develop prototypes (no coding experience required) to test product decisions and iterate on feature requirements
  • Translate research and learnings into well-scoped product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that give design and engineering teams what they need to execute
  • Collaborate with design on UX flows and with engineers during sprint planning, grooming, and review cycles to keep features on track and in scope
  • Partner with the Service team to maintain strong relationships with agency divisions, ensuring product delivery reflects real business priorities
  • Define and track feature-level success metrics, synthesizing data from dashboards and analytics tools to assess impact and inform iteration
  • Develop a working fluency in THE·TEAM’s data ecosystem – understanding how our core platform works and the connection to broader divisional outputs

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $80-90K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role
