About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to be based in Dallas, TX. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Builds analytic and design skills. Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of HVAC and & Plumbing design experience in an engineering consulting environment
• Working knowledge of relevant engineering software: REVIT, CAD, load calculation software, Excel
• Having experience: load calculations, Revit drafting, Carrier HAP or IES load programs
• Having experience with construction project engineering, heat & mass transfer, energy conversion engineering, fluids
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
