Junior Maintenance /Grounds
About The Position
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Trim and cut grass at the middle school and assist elementary schools when needed 2.Trim shrubs and trees at the middle school and assist elementary schools when needed 3.Ensure all trash receptacles are emptied at the middle school and assist elementary schools when needed 4.Line athletic fields as requested by the middle school Athletic Director 5.Ensure sidewalks are clean of snow and ice at the middle school and assist elementary schools when needed 6.Salt and sand any areas that are deemed unsafe for students and staff at the middle school and assist elementary schools when needed 7.Pick up papers and debris from outside building, sidewalks, parking areas and school grounds 8.Ensure athletic structures are assembled and ready for use (nets, goals, etc.) at the middle school 9.Ensure maintenance equipment is clean and fully functional, keep records on equipment for middle school and elementary schools 10.Ensure courtyard is maintained (trash, shrubs, etc.) at the middle school 11.Small engine certification required 12. Any maintenance work required for Somerset Public Schools as requested by Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
