About The Position

The Junior IT Operations and Compliance Analyst supports compliance and audit readiness documentation while also assisting with day-to-day IT operations, hands-on technical projects, and security execution. This is an entry-level, high-growth role for someone who is organized, energetic, and comfortable learning quickly in a production environment.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience (internships, co-ops, or part-time IT roles count)
  • Strong communicator with a service-oriented mindset
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow checklists, maintain clean documentation, and close the loop on tasks
  • Critical thinker and problem solver who takes initiative and learns fast
  • Comfortable with hands-on hardware work in an onsite environment

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to regulated environments or audits (SOC 1/2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST) is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation and evidence workflows
  • Basic understanding of access controls, patching, vulnerability management, logging, backups, and segmentation

Responsibilities

  • Support compliance and audit readiness by collecting and organizing evidence, maintaining documentation, and supporting recurring control activities
  • Use approved AI-assisted tools to help draft and organize audit and documentation responses, with human review for accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with audit workflow support, including tracking evidence requests and ensuring artifacts are complete and labeled consistently
  • Maintain an organized evidence library (screenshots, exports, logs, access review support) and ensure materials are audit-ready for review
  • Support security execution by tracking vulnerability remediation work to closure and capturing validation evidence once fixes are completed
  • Assist the security and infrastructure teams with documentation, validation, and follow-through for security-related operational tasks
  • Work ServiceDesk tickets across common IT support areas including Microsoft 365 and Teams support, account access and MFA help, workstation setup and imaging, software installs, printers, conference rooms, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Support technical projects with the infrastructure and security teams (deployment tasks, documentation, validation, and follow-through)
  • Perform hands-on onsite work: staging equipment, hardware swaps, running and terminating cabling, and assisting in server room and facility-related technical tasks
  • Train to safely operate a scissor lift for cabling and elevated work areas
  • Participate in the after-hours support rotation and assist with planned maintenance as needed
