Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL and NIST.
  • Experience in IT compliance, risk management, or contract analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.
  • ENTRY LEVEL ASSOCIATE 0-1 years of professional level experience in IT policy, compliance, security, risk management, contract analysis or legal/governance role.
  • PROFESSIONAL 1 year of professional level experience in IT policy, compliance, security, risk management, contract analysis or legal/governance role.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 + years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or contract analysis.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT compliance.
  • Experience using compliance management software and tools (e.g., GRC systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a technical environment
  • Advanced Excel and documentation skills.
  • Experience with contract management systems and GRC tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assess third-party vendors and partners for IT security and compliance risks.
  • Review technology-related contracts to ensure alignment with privacy, security, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and IT teams to mitigate risk and uphold regulatory obligations.
  • Support compliance-related tasks including access management, incident response, and audit documentation.
  • Help draft and update IT compliance policies and educate stakeholders on requirements.
  • Contribute to dashboards and reports that reflect the university’s compliance posture.
