About The Position
Mathnasium is a leading education brand consisting of over 1,300 learning centers in the world that provides math instruction to students in kindergarten through high school. We're looking for high schoolers who are exceptional at math and love teaching younger kids. An Instructor job at Mathnasium will not only look great on your resume and application for college but will also give you great work experience, help prepare you for college! Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
Requirements
- Strong math proficiency through Algebra and above
- High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm
- Desire to work through the entire school year
- All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
