About The Position

Special Operations/EOD Instructor personnel shall serve as SMEs on the TTPs, SOPs, and POIs of the TSGs and communicate and train both military and civilian personnel on these plans and procedures. The Special Operations/EOD Instructor personnel shall serve as an expert in the use of the TSG search equipment, communications systems, surveillance equipment, and other mission-essential gear. The individual is required to operate specialized equipment on land, sea, and air either during contingency operations, training and/or exercises. The Special Operations/EOD Instructor personnel provide training to military and/or civilian personnel on the setup and operation of search gear and communications equipment and directly support search operations. The individual must be able to conduct split team operations, separate and distinct from the Senior Instructor. Duties and Responsibilities: Become an SME on all TSG TTP, SOPs, and POIs and is able to communicate these plans and procedures to the TSG Team within 90 days of award of this contract. Become an SME on all TSG search gear and communications equipment provide training to military and/or civilian personnel on the setup and operation of this TSG search gear and communications equipment. Update TTPs, SOPs, and POIs as required. Maintain proficiency on all mission essential equipment. Serve as a SME on all TSG search equipment. Train designated personnel on TSG search equipment and operations. Support military and/or civilian personnel during WMD search operations, up to and including tactical actions during the conduct of real world operations. Must be able to travel on very short notice and be able to work non-standard hours.

Requirements

• Former SOF Operator or Navy/Army EOD: former SMU Operator who is graduate of the respective unit's Operator Training Course; Army Special Forces (18 series); Navy EOD technician; Army EOD technician (must have a skill qualification identifier (SQI) of ‘S’ or ‘V’); Navy SEAL having completed SEAL training and served on a SEAL Team; Marine Special Operations Forces/Force Recon.
• Military instructor experience.
• No Less than 2 years' experience as an instructor at a training command or in an operational unit's training department.
• Experienced in air operations.
• Have a fundamental familiarity and understanding of small boat operations to include Small Boat, coxswain qualified, or civilian equivalent.
• Experienced in land and maritime reconnaissance and surveillance operations.
• Have a fundamental familiarity and understanding of CBRN PPE.
• Physically capable of working extended periods in SCBA.
• Possess advanced skills in surveillance/counter surveillance techniques
• All personnel shall be physically and mentally qualified for deployment and performance of duties, to include tactical operations in austere, hostile environments.
• This includes being able to complete and maintain deployment qualifications as referenced in DoD Instruction 3020.41, Field Manual (FM) 7-22, and DTRA Deployment Readiness Guide for Contractors.
• Annually, personnel must complete an Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) and score a minimum of 60 points in each exercise for each individual’s specific age group and pass a Combat Water Survival Test (CWST) in accordance with Army Techniques Publication (ATP) No. 7-22.01.
• A Top Secret Clearance with current SCI eligibility
