About The Position

At White River Marine Group, the Junior Industrial Designer plays a key role in shaping the future of our marine products by contributing to the design and development of innovative, trend-forward boats and accessories. This position supports both new product introductions and model year updates by executing creative concepts, refining components, and conducting ongoing trend research within and beyond the marine industry. Working under general supervision, the Junior Designer operates with a high level of initiative and provides day-to-day support across cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales. The role also provides guidance to entry-level team members and may coordinate activities in upholstery design, graphics layout, and FRP/Aluminum styling. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, creative thinker who is passionate about product innovation and craftsmanship. Support new product development efforts through weekly involvement in 3D modeling, sketching, and prototyping of boats and key components. Assist in the conceptualization and refinement of advanced design ideas for both new models and model year updates. Conduct ongoing research into consumer trends, competitor offerings, and design influences inside and outside the marine industry. Develop and prototype interior and exterior elements including motor boxes, consoles, seating, upholstery, flooring, and gel coat graphics. Provide support on special projects, contributing to the design of accessories such as gauges, lighting, and trailer components. Create and maintain visual content for digital sales tools, such as product configurators and presentations. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to assist with graphics, logos, line art, and basic photo editing as needed. Produce mockups and study models to test form, function, and ergonomic layout.
