About The Position

Join a privately-owned HVAC services company dedicated to delivering reliable comfort solutions for residences and light commercial customers across eastern Massachusetts. From our base in Newton, we handle everything from installations to custom fabrication in a collaborative, growth-focused environment that values hands-on expertise and team success. As a Junior HVAC Installer, you'll support lead installers on a full range of residential and light commercial projects, learning to handle boilers (hot water heat), split cooling/heat pump systems, furnaces, ductless units, and related distribution/control systems. This role builds toward independent job site management, client/contractor coordination, and high-quality executions that exceed expectations. Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential/light commercial preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of brazing/soldering, schematics, and blueprint reading (willingness to learn required).
  • Valid driver's license with clean record.
  • English proficiency for clear communication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Lift/carry up to 100 lbs regularly.
  • Climb ladders, work on rooftops, and navigate confined spaces.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks in varying weather (indoor/outdoor).
  • Submit resume highlighting HVAC experience.
  • Available for multiple job sites in eastern MA.
  • Committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA 1, 2, or 3 Certification (preferred).
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installations of heating/cooling systems, including boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, splits, and ductless setups, following manufacturer specs and blueprints.
  • Perform minor field fabrication (e.g., sheet metal) and learn brazing/soldering for refrigerant piping and controls.
  • Read/interpret wiring schematics, blueprints, and construction docs to ensure precise, code-compliant work.
  • Maintain job sites for safety and efficiency, coordinating with clients, contractors, and subs.
  • Test systems post-install, handle start-ups, and support troubleshooting/repairs as needed.
  • Keep tools in top condition and complete accurate paperwork for seamless project close-outs.
