We’re looking for a Junior Human Resources Business Partner to help support our rapidly growing workforce (1100 employees as of March). This role will partner closely with the Sr. HR Business Partner and operational leaders to manage employee relations, ensure HR compliance, and help scale training and people programs across the organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a large hourly workforce and enjoys using their impeccable professional judgement to solve problems, support leaders, and build systems that help teams succeed at scale.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation across core HR areas including employee relations, performance management, and multi-state compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of HR experience.
  • Knowledge of basic employment law and HR compliance.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, startup environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting employee relations or workplace investigations preferred.
  • Experience supporting hourly or operational workforces is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Employee Relations
  • Conduct intake and triage of employee relations cases including policy violations, workplace concerns, and attendance matters
  • Deliver clear findings and partner with Senior HRBP and Legal to ensure outcomes are fair, consistent, and grounded in company values.
  • Support employees and leaders in navigating sensitive situations by offering clarity, empathy, and actionable guidance.
  • Help Scale HR Programs
  • Support the development of ER frameworks, templates, investigation tools, and documentation standards.
  • Assist with building and organizing training materials and people programs that support new centers and leadership teams.
  • Support initiatives that improve employee experience and leadership development.
  • Ensure HR Compliance
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Assist with required reporting and administrative compliance activities including: EEOC reporting Unemployment claims Employee Personnel Files
  • Partner with the HR team to maintain compliant policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Operations
  • Coach leaders on company policies and best practices for managing their teams.
  • Help identify trends related to turnover, performance management, and employee concerns.
  • Champion a culture of fairness, accountability, and psychological safety through both reactive and preventive measures.
