Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in mining or exploration (graduate roles welcome)
- Basic understanding of geology and mining principles
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work in field and mine environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in operational settings
- Basic computer skills (Excel, GIS, or geological software preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Earth Sciences
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of geological software (Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog, or similar) is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Conduct geological mapping, rock chip sampling, soil sampling, and trench logging.
- Assist in drill site preparation, core logging, and sample collection.
- Ensure accurate recording and labeling of geological samples
- Input and manage geological data in databases and GIS systems.
- Assist in interpreting geochemical, geophysical, and drilling results.
- Prepare preliminary geological reports and maps.
- Support senior geologists in planning and executing exploration programs.
- Monitor drilling operations and ensure compliance with sampling protocols.
- Maintain field equipment and ensure safety standards are followed
- Adhere to company safety policies and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety briefings and risk assessments.
- Promote a culture of safe and responsible exploration practices.
- Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards
