Our Exploration division is growing, and we are looking for an Exploration Geologist I, II, III to join our team! The successful candidate will conduct and supervise geological research, data compilation, mapping, sampling, and interpretation. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain analytical applications, tools, and utilities to support geoscientific analysis, querying, and reporting.
  • Administer geological databases for the LATAM Exploration VP, including installation, configuration, preventive maintenance, system updates, and third-party integrations.
  • Ensure data integrity, QA/QC compliance, security, and governance through audits, validation, and migration of historical geoscientific data.
  • Manage GIS-based geoscientific information using ESRI technologies to support spatial analysis, mapping, and visualization.
  • Conduct geoscientific analysis, research, mapping, and interpretation in support of exploration and mining objectives.
  • Design, manage, and continuously improve exploration technology platforms and geoinformation systems, ensuring interoperability and effective data exchange.
  • Build and maintain 3D geological models and design and execute drill programs, including RC and core logging.
  • Train and support users in geological and geospatial data entry, analysis, and consumption.
  • Identify and implement system and process improvements aligned with exploration strategy.
  • Manage work plans, budgets, and reporting, delivering projects on time, on budget, and with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate key findings and significant events to senior management.
  • Perform other duties as required.
