About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Administrative duties as needed including but not limited to managing approval and tracking of smaller company events across the organization.
  • Work with the Event Team and Event Stakeholders to understand goals and objectives, requirements, parameters and budget for each event.
  • Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints.
  • Create reliable financial reports.
  • Remain under budget with all costs.
  • Book venues and schedule speakers.
  • Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost.
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable term in conjunction with Manager and Legal.
  • Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, etc.).
  • Handle final checks on the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards.
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems.
  • Evaluate event’s success and submit report.
  • Stablishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues.
  • Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining, and guests.
  • Manage events and address potential problems that may arise.
  • Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event.
  • Communicate directly with Management, Executive Team and Event Stakeholders throughout the event planning process to achieve event goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate guest list and vendor specifications.
  • Working closely with the Events Team to ensure event success.
  • Other projects assigned by Manager.
